In 2004, NADRA developed and upgraded manual passport issuance system to modern Machine Readable Passport (MRP) making it more secure and safe. NADRA in collaboration with DG Immigration and Passport signed an agreement to facilitate Pakistani Diaspora seeking Passport, with operationally limited to the category of MRP renewal. The Project aims to provide best services to overseas Pakistanis and is a success story providing continuous, convenient and hassle-free services. Online-MRP was established as state-of-the-art solution to better facilitate overseas Pakistanis, they can apply for renewal of their passport from the comfort of their home or office. Passport is right away delivered at their mailing address.
