What is a National Identity Card (NIC), and am I eligible?
The National Identity Card (NIC) is an official identification document issued by NADRA to valid/legitimate citizens of Pakistan. All Pakistani citizens who are 18 years of age or older are eligible to apply for a NIC.
What is a POC (Pakistan Origin Card), and am I eligible?
The Pakistan Origin Card (POC) is a multiple-entry card issued to foreign nationals of Pakistani origin. Individuals who were born in Pakistan or have at least one parent or grandparent who was born in Pakistan are eligible to apply for the Pakistan Origin Card.
What is CRC (Child Registration Certificate), and who can apply for CRC?
The Child Registration Certificate (CRC) is an official identification document issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) of Pakistan for children under the age of 18 who are citizens of Pakistan. Parents or legal guardians with a valid NIC or NICOP can apply for the CRC on behalf of the child.
What is the difference between NICOP and Smart NICOP?
The National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) and Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (Smart NICOP) are different generations of NICOP cards.
How can I pay the application fee for an identity document?
Fees for identity documents can be paid using various methods. You can make payments in cash or via credit/debit card at NADRA Centers. Additionally, you may use the EasyPaisa / Jazz Cash Mobile App for fee payments.
How can I locate NADRA Centers in Pakistan?

What documents do I need to provide when applying for a reprint of a lost card?
When applying for the reprint of a lost card, you only need the Unique number of your lost identification card.
What is NICOP, and am I eligible?
The term "NICOP" stands for "National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis". It is an official identification document issued to Pakistani citizens residing abroad. All Pakistani citizens who reside outside Pakistan are eligible to apply for a NICOP.
What is FRC (Family Registration Certificate), and who can apply for FRC?
The Family Registration Certificate (FRC) is a document issued by NADRA that contains the family details of a citizen. Any Pakistani citizen whose age is more than 18 years and who wants to get information about their family members or their family details can apply for an FRC.
What is the difference between NIC and Smart NIC?
The National Identity Card (NIC) and Smart National Identity Card (Smart NIC) are different generations of NIC cards.
Is there an option for home delivery of the identity document?
Yes, NADRA offers a home delivery service for all types of Cards. During the application process, you have the option to select home delivery. Additional charges might apply for this service.
How can I apply for an identity document?
To apply for an Identity document, either of the following two ways can be used.
  1. Visit the nearest NADRA Center, Click on See Locations Or you can download Rahbar mobile app for NADRA center locations.
  2. To apply online, you can either visit the Pak-ID web portal or access the Pak-ID mobile app by scanning the QR code provided below
Is there a fee for obtaining an identity document?
Yes, there is a fee associated with applying for an identity document. The fee structure may vary based on the type of identity document, the nature of the application (new, renewal, modification), the priority of the application (normal, urgent, and executive), and other factors.
