On March 6, 2024, a delegation from the Republic of Uganda, led by Mr. Aggrey David Kibenge, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Gender, Labour & Social Development, visited Headquarters of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
During this visit, NADRA's senior management extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided a comprehensive briefing on the innovative utilization of the national identity system. The delegation expressed special interest in the technological solutions implemented by NADRA for supporting good governance and advancing social protection initiatives.
The systems developed by NADRA, which effectively manage the national identities of the world's third-largest demographic segment, were highly commended by the delegation. These systems are instrumental in driving digital transformation both domestically and internationally.
The visit concluded with both parties expressing a mutual interest in exploring and developing further collaborative opportunities.
