Process/Procedure for Clearance of Digital Impound Cases and Filing an Appeal against CNIC Cancellation
Following is process to file an appeal before Secretary Interior under Section 18 (13) of NADRA Ordinance, 2000 :
- NADRA will send hearing notice by hand/email/fax/SMS/Special Messenger or courier service
- Applicant has to appear with in 15 x days of receipt of notice at Zonal Verification Board for personal hearing
- If services of Notice cannot be done/confirmed, then NADRA publishes such notice on Website and as well as in Newspaper. Expiry time of such notice is also 15 days
- In case applicant fails to justify position, speaking/final order with proper reason under Section 18(1) to CNIC holders only is issued and cancellation process is invoked
- Applicant is guided to appeal at MOI against NADRA decision within 30 days for final hearing after issuance and receipt of final order Under Section 18(3) of NADRA Ordinance, 2000
- Applicant is required to submit a written appeal to Secretary Interior along with documentary evidences in support of his/her claim of correct particulars/National Status
- Secretary Interior is the final authority to decide the appeal
