Account Creation on Pak ID Website
How to Create New User Account on Pak Identity website?
  1. Open the browser and enter the URL https://www.nadra.gov.pk/ to access the Homepage.
  2. Head over to Pak Identity section on the Homepage and Click on Pak ID Applications link.
  3. Click on the Image illustrated in the below screenshot.
  4. The account registration/login screen opens in a new tab of your browser.
  5. Click Register an Account button.
    Step – 1 Personal Information
  6. Enter the following [Personal Information]:
    • FORENAME(S)
      Enter your first and middle name.
    • SURNAME
      Enter your last name / surname.
    • COUNTRY
      Enter the country in which you are residing.
    • MOBILE OPERATOR
      Select the mobile operator.
    • MOBILE NUMBER
      Enter your mobile number.
    • ENABLE TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION?
      Select Enable or Disable, if you need an extra security layer for the protection of your Pak ID account then its is recommend to select Enable.
    • EMAIL
      Enter your email address.
    • PASSWORD
      Enter the password. Password must contain alpha numeric values.
    • CAPTCHA CODE
      Enter the displayed captcha code properly to verify your identity as a human.
  7. Click Next button.
    Step 2 – SMS/Email Verification
  8. The system generates verification PIN and sends it to the given mobile number/email address. Copy the verification PIN and click continue registration link in the SMS/Email.
    NOTE: Incase, if the confirmation email is not received in the inbox, try looking it at the Junk/Spam folder, sometimes the email lands in the spam/junk folder.
  9. The system will display SMS/Email verification page. Enter the 4-digit verification PIN and click Verify button.
  10. After logging in to your newly created account, the system will prompt the message Biometric Verification Needed, you will need to scan the barcode to install the Pak Identity Mobile App or you can click on these links Android or IOS for installation of the app on your Mobile.
  11. After installing the Pak Identity Mobile app on your mobile, login to your account created through the same credentials (Email and Password). Notification of Account Non Verified will show up, click on the right arrow sign to verify your account through Biometric.
  12. The Account Verification screen would be displayed, enter the CNIC/NICOP/POC number and issue date or date of birth and click on Verify button.
    NOTE: You can register only one Pak Identity account through your CNIC/NICOP/POC, the system will not allow you to register more than one account through the same CNIC/NICOP/POC.
  13. The system will display the Biometric verification screen, select the option for fingerprints biometric, i.e Left hand or Right hand, Left thumb or Right thumb. You will have a maximum of 10 attempts for fingerprints biometric verification.
  14. Upon successful matching, the system will display the message Verification Success. Now you can use your account for application processing on both Pak Identity website and Mobile App.
  15. In case the fingerprints biometric didn’t match and all the attempts are exhausted, then you will be asked to provide the Selfie/facial biometric, tap on the screen to capture your selfie, you can also use the camera rotate option to use the back camera of your mobile for maximum chances of facial matching.
    NOTE: If due to any reason, your Pak Identity account could not be created/verified, you can apply through Pak Identity account belonging to one of your blood relatives i.e. father, mother, sister, brother, spouse or children (above 18) for processing of your identity document. Please make sure that the blood relative or spouse whose Pak Identity account you use has their NADRA identity card record already linked to your record (Family tree).
