POC ( Pakistan Origin Card )

  1. What is POC
  2. Pakistan Origin Card (POC) is comprehensive identification document; POC brings Special status to the foreigners of Pakistani Origin with some attractive incentives and benefits.

  3. Eligibility Criteria
  4. A person shall be an eligible foreigner of Pakistan Origin or eligible for Pakistan Origin Card if he/she has been a citizen of Pakistan at any time during his/her life.

  5. Benefits and Facilities

    • Visa free entry into Pakistan.
    • Indefinite stay in Pakistan (till the expiry of card).
    • Permission to use POC for providing identity where CNIC is required.
    • Right to open and operate Bank accounts in Pakistan.
    • Permission to purchase / sell property, anywhere in Pakistan.

 

 

Instructions / Documents Required
  1. Instructions for form submission
    • Fill complete Form.*
    • Get it duly signed by the applicant.
    • Affix Thumb impression.
    • Fix Passport Size photograph at designated place.
    • Attach one additional photograph.
    • Attestation of form by any CNIC/NICOP holder.
  2. Documents required
    Following documents are to be attached in addition to the form filled by the applicant:- colored photocopies
    • Bank Receipt/Draft.
    • Photocopy of valid Foreign passport.
    • Pakistani CRC/CNIC/NIC/NICOP (To be attached in Original).
    • Photocopy/number of CNIC/NICOP of Blood relatives in Pakistan.
    • Birth Certificate (For first time registration only).
    • Marriage Certificate/proof relationship.
    • Renunciation letter.
    • Attestation of renunciation letter by Consulate.
  3. Specify Grounds on which you claim your Pakistani Origin (attach proof). More than one ground may be specified
    Following documents are to be attached in addition to the form filled by the applicant:- colored photocopies
    • By Birth.
      If the applicant selects this check box then he/she should provide birth certificate along with requires documents.
    • Blood Relative in Pakistan.
      If the applicant selects this check box then he/she should provide Name, Manual National Identity Card/CNIC/NICOP of blood relative living in Pakistan and mention the relationship with them.
    • NIC/Passport.
      If the applicant selects this check box then he/she should provide old Manual National Identity Card, expired/cancelled Pakistani Passport (compulsory).

* Forms can be acquired from all booking stations and Embassies. Application forms are also available on NADRA website: http://nadra.gov.pk/site/333/default.aspx. Print outs of the application forms (available in PDF Format) can be filled and sent for processing.
